Hot Stones

Hot Stone Massage uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of the therapist’s hands. The warmth penetrates deeply into tight muscles, creating a deeply relaxing, therapeutic experience that enhances both comfort and effectiveness.

What is Hot Stones

Hot Stone Massage is a therapeutic technique where heated stones are incorporated into massage movements to soften muscle tissue, melt away tension, and promote full-body relaxation. The heat allows for deeper work without the pressure feeling intense, making it ideal for clients who enjoy gentle, soothing massage with strong therapeutic benefits.

How it Works

Warmed stones — chosen for their ability to retain heat — are warmed and used to glide across the body. As the warmth penetrates the muscle layers, it helps:

  • Loosen tight or overworked muscles
  • Improve circulation
  • Calm the nervous system
  • Enhance the effectiveness of hands-on massage

Who its For

Hot Stone Massage is a great choice for clients who experience:

  • Muscle tension or stiffness
  • Limited range of motion
  • Stress, anxiety, or overactive nervous system
  • Chronic fatigue or burnout
  • Trigger points or localized knots
  • Sensitivity to deep pressure (but still want effective relief)

It’s also ideal for anyone simply wanting a deeply comforting and relaxing experience.

What to Expect During a Session

During your session:

  • Stones will be gently applied with soothing pressure
  • The heat will gradually soften the muscles, allowing your muscles to relax more deeply
  • Pressure is adjusted to your comfort level at all times
  • Stones will be used as an extension of your therapists hands

Most clients report feeling deeply relaxed, warm, and calm by the end of the session.
